1. When this policy applies
This policy applies when paid Self Bank subscriptions become available. During public beta, paid checkout remains closed until payment review is complete. CREEM is the planned merchant of record and will process eligible refunds to the original payment method.
2. Initial purchase refunds
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the first charge for a new subscription. Tell us the account email, purchase date, and reason for the request. We may refuse or reduce a refund where there is clear evidence of fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, or substantial consumption of a digital service, except where applicable law gives you stronger rights.
3. Renewal refunds
If a subscription renewed by mistake, contact us within 7 calendar days of the renewal charge. A renewal refund is generally available when there has been no substantial use after renewal. Canceling after this window stops future renewals but does not normally refund the current billing period.
4. Service problems and duplicate charges
Contact us promptly if you were charged more than once, charged after a confirmed cancellation, unable to receive paid access because of a verified technical problem, or believe a payment was unauthorized. We will review the account and transaction records and coordinate with CREEM when needed.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel through the CREEM customer portal linked from the purchase receipt or another subscription control made available in Self Bank. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid another charge. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period. Deleting local app data or stopping use does not cancel a subscription.
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address used for the purchase. Include the product name, purchase date, and CREEM order or transaction ID. Do not send full card numbers. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Bank or wallet processing may take 5 to 10 business days after CREEM issues the refund.
7. Local consumer rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that apply where you live. If local law or CREEM's merchant-of-record obligations provide stronger rights, those stronger rights apply.
